As the business grew David started renting space in a data centre and you would often see him on the data floor at 2am provisioning servers.
From there David gets an office in Wimbledon “I had a single desk office with no windows that was unbearable in the summer!” Upgrading to windows and more space is when David then gained investment for 4D Data Centres.
Today the Data Centre is one of the greenest and innovative in Europe. It has latest evaporative cooling systems retro-fitted to give it a PUE rating of 1.14. This makes the data centre more eco-friendly and not gobble up as much energy as more traditional cooling methods.
